Hell Week. Day 1.

For the past month, 3 months if we are REALLY counting, I have been revving up for my first pole competition. I started out by doing local performances to get use to performing in different spaces, but, now is the time I put myself out there and really see how I match up against some of the best polers out there. 

The part of my routine where I question my life choices. 

HELL WEEK is among me. If the stress of the competition wasn't enough, I have been dealing with stuff in my personal life that has got me worrying about why I don't love myself. LOL. 

So far, as I prep, I have already had my first major issue, as I discovered while analyzing my music (thank God I'm OCD) there is some barely noticeable language in the song, that is not allowed for the competition. It wouldn't be a problem, except that the deadline to submit music was two weeks ago...and as I tried to fix the song to get rid of the foul language, my PC (hashtag team Mac) decided to throw a hissy fit. Now I sit and wait to see if I'm able to get my music sitch worked out in time without me having to make any last minute drastic changes.  Ugh. What. Is. Life? And I'm still trying to get my hair and make up figured out....why do I do this to myself?

Thick thighs save lives. 

This is all hard hard work.... but it will pay off.
