Welcome to the First Work it Out Wednesday!

As curvy pole dancers, we often feel discouraged because it takes us a little longer and requires a bit more effort to achieve certain pole moves. However, throughout my personal journey with pole dancing, I have discovered some fantastic conditioning tips that have greatly assisted me in mastering a wide range of moves.

Every Wednesday, I will be sharing these tips, along with accompanying videos of the moves, to help others on their own pole dancing journey.

Looking to train with me in person? Join me every Saturday in Austin, TX for Pole Conditioning at 12 Noon at Inner Diva Studios!

First Up- CORE.

To progress in pole, you have to have a strong core. So many moves rely on core engagement to be executed, so I always like to tell my students, especially new students, to start building your core as soon as possible!

Here are some chill conditioning moves I like to do to build strength in my core. All of these moves can be done at home, and don’t require any equipment!

  1. Cat cow push-offs

  2. Candlestick Leg lifts w/ couch or pole

  3. Hollow Body rolls

  4. Toe taps, knee bent
